Pate de Verre is the French term for paste of glass. The Egyptians used this method to produce solid glass objects, with rich translucent qualities to make a range of objects from solid sculptures to hollow vessels.
You will learn the basic principles of mould making. Then you will learn how to pack the glass frit into the mould ready for firing.
You will make 2 small objects. The first will be a commercial mould and the second will be a mould of your own design.
The cost of $250 includes all glass, refractory materials and firings to complete your projects.
