Fusing & Slumping

An introductory course from 9am -3pm.

This full day course will teach you how to fuse and slump glass, to create a glass bowl, platter or wall piece in your choice of design and shape. It will incorporate kiln carving using fibre paper to create dimension in your work. Fusing is the melting of glass at high temperatures and Slumping is the bending of glass into a shape.

We provide the glass cutting tools and the kiln for use during the course. The cost of the class includes firing of your projects, technical information and lots more.

You are required to come to the studio prior to your class to show us your design and to select the glass that you will require.

You MUST wear covered footwear and preferably old clothes of natural fibres.

Tuition Cost: $195 + cost of your chosen glass.
