Bead Making
Course runs from 9am till 3pm.
Learn bead making theory and techniques, with ample time to practice your new skills.
Start with general safety, setting up, type of glass to buy and the torch to use, this course guides you through all the basic steps of setting up to make glass beads. You’ll learn to wind simple round beads and form them into cylinders, disks and other shapes.
Discover how to apply surface decorations, such as dots, stripes and spiral trails. Then pinch, rake and poke your beads to make floral motifs and intricate floral patterns. Add colourful powders to create mysterious effects.
