  Guest Artists

  We bring a diverse range of  internationally acclaimed interstate and overseas guests to  the Art Glass Studio for all  our clients  benefit. These wonderful artists share their knowledge, techniques and encourage us to extend our glass skills.

  RECENT WORKSHOPS

  Narcissus Quagliata

  Narcissus Quagliata returned to Perth in May 2011 to conduct a  4 day Masterclass with past students as well as a 4 day workshop entitled "An Exploration into the Creative Energy of Glass."Both were highly succesful and saw great  artistic potential emerge.

   

  Judi Elliott - Beyond the Mold

  Judi Elliott conducted a “Beyond the Mold” 3 day workshop with us. Judi’s work is kiln formed and sculptural and inspired by architecture and the people who inhabit those spaces. This work is truly inspirational.

  

   Brenda Page- Casting

  Brenda Page has conducted several highly successful casting workshops for us. We will let you know  when she makes another guest appearance.

  

  Steve Klein- Free Formed Fusing & Slumping

  Steve Klien from USA presented one 3 day workshop and one 5 day workshop for us demostrating his technique, both were very different and highly successful.

  

  Bernard Stoner- Flamework / Beadmaking

   

  Bernard Stoner conducted a beginner’s workshop in Beadmaking.  This Master Craftsman was at the Studio for a three day workshop which proved to be truley inspirational to all who attended.

  

  Denise Pepper conducted a Pate de Verre workshop and also an Open Face Casting workshop.

  All of these workshops were highly successfull and great fun!
